Our favorite spots in the city

During various trips, we have strolled around the lively downtown area of the Greek capital. Here is one of our favorite routes:
We start at Plateia Syntagma and pursue our walk through Mitropoleos Street till Monastiraki Square. There, we turn into Athinas Street and after a few hundred meters we reach the Central Athens Public Market Halls (Dimotiki Agora).
From this spot, we choose Evripidou Street and continue through Sarri Street towards the archaeological site of Kerameikos. Afterwards, we aim for Thission Square and choose to walk Apostolou Pavlou and Dionysiou Aeropagitou Street until we finally reach the Acropolis. 😀
